Update on Enhancements

We just wanted to update everyone on the status of the enhancements we announced last week.  We got through most of them, but we’re still working on making the last enhancement live.  So, here’s what is live now:

• Increase in number of items displayed in results list from 5 to 10 as a default, with user option to increase further
• Changes to autosearch notification styling and wording
• Streamlined left-hand navigation options
• Mobile device optimization for IDS Search that allows for integration of IDS Search on libraries’ mobile presence

We’re still testing:

• Enhanced similar items functionality in item record including cover images of similar items.

We hope to have the similar items functionality enhancement live soon, and we’ll let everyone know when it’s ready.
