If the hosted IDS Search service at http://search.idsproject.org is not working, please use our emergency contact form. The IDS Search development team will respond immediately to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
Follow up messages about emergencies will be communicated by the IDS Search development team to the IDSSearch-L listserv.
Please be aware IDS Search integrates several systems. Problems considered emergencies are those effecting shared, central systems – not local systems – with a global impact on the search service. Emergencies would include:
- No response from http://search.idsproject.org
- No search results for all searches
Problems that are not emergencies include:
- Problem with a single link
- Problem with a single record
- Problems effecting only one library
If your problem is not an emergency, please submit a “bug” report.
If there is not a problem, but you would like to see a new feature, or want a feature improved, please submit an “enhancement request.”
